StatsCan report cited in the story says employment ROSE 1.8% in the year to March 2021. Vacancies are up bc the system is trying to staff up beyond normal growth, due to the pandemic.
This story's just wrong.

AHS told the reporter they've filled 1,000+ vacancies in the past year. AB is bucking the natl trend. Reporter omitted it. ("No room" for it.

Or how many of those they had to fill with new grads because senior experienced staff are fleeing? There is 100% a nursing exodus.
