It's rare to see something this unanimous in games business tbh

Don't get me wrong - everyone that I've met from Stadia are good people, they're excited and knowledgeable and kind. The tech is impressive and intuitive, albeit painfully incomplete. I hope they get the power and resources to do amazing things.

there are smart games people over there - i hope they succeed. it's not easy for games people to integrate with a tech culture, believe me :-)

I mostly feel that game industry chose not to work with Google, for obvious reasons

Looks like google's flakiness with its own tech is a well known fact now. It's the exact reason why I didn't believe in stadia from the start.

I'm rooting for them. But as a stadia owner myself (that hasn't played it in a month), I can't help but feel the disconnect somewhere. Hoping for some big announcements soon.

Huh, how interesting! You’d have thought they’d be banging down developers’ doors to get content...

I'd love for Stadia (and game streaming on a whole) to work, but the infrastructure to make it appealing to a large enough crowd just isn't there and it won't be in place for a long time.
