Based on the news, it's honestly increasingly hard to believe that the United States is a real place with real people, and not some sort of weird social responsibility marketing campaign where all other countries are eventually going to get a "why didn't you intervene" interview.

And that's just today, and not even discussing the other many structural issues. It's staggering. I really, really hope somehow the country gets its shit together. I know too many incredible people in the US, and I genuinely can not believe how helpless this must feel.

Why are you spreading untruths? The Georgia Abortion law specifically notes procedures to treat a “spontaneous abortion,” meaning a miscarriage or stillbirth, are not punishable under law. Same is true of removing an ectopic pregnancy, according to the law.

Because: A) it's none of nobody's fucking business what a woman does with her body, she's a human, not an incubator B) the woman has to prove that that's what happened. You can get questioned after a stillbirth. Or before out-of-state travel. Or whatever really. See A.
