We should not aim to “help” them more than we would help members of any other violent terror ideologies. They are simply to be stopped, same as Al-Qaeda or ISIS.
How are you going to stop men whose only crime is to be unsuccessful at attracting a partner? Arrest men who get rejected on dating sites? Arrest any man who is deemed a "creep" or "douchebag"? Arrest men who are placed in the "friend zone"?
Or, you know, arrest them when they engage in violent radicalization online - like discussing rape, enslavement and acid attacks. Simply treat them like any other terrorist network.
Two issues: a) Government intervention targets groups, not individuals when it comes to censorship, proscription and survellance. Prevention, not cure. b) News articles online focus on the predicament of unattractive and undateable single men as the catalyst.
