@tgaul I’m gonna make sure the Podcasts app actually works before updating to iOS 6.
Seems like most likely reason for users who can upgrade to stick with iOS 5 is actually the change to Maps. Also, not sure about 3GS perf.

@mjtsai FWIW, I imagine it does since it seems they wrote it because Music doesn’t handle podcasts on iOS 6. -
@tgaul One would imagine, but given how buggy Podcasts 1.0.2 is I’m not assuming anything. -
