A lot of people like using WGET or even RIGHT-CLICKING to get items off the archive, and that does work, for sure - but you will get the derivatives and other generated items as well, which you probably want to clean after. That's annoying. Going big? Learn the client.

Example: To download over 70,000 Japanese Electronics Manuals in PDF form, into your current directory, this command: ia download --search=collection:manuals_electronics_japanese --no-directories --glob=\*.pdf Will just do it. It's going to be a few hundred gigs, of course.

I'm going to assume you're using the client, or you're VERY comfortable with dealing with the weirdness of browser downloads, or, in cases of a single item, using the torrent download for that item to grab it.

Is this an easy way that I can download original file sets from the LMA without derived files? There are a couple good sized collections I'd like to clone for the bands... https://archive.org/details/CamperVanBeethoven …

If you go look at my commands, you'll see the --glob command, like --glob=*.mp3 or whatever the originals are.
