    Second, and I can't stress this enough, Peter Dinklage's commitment to this part and this movie is utter and complete. His every second of performance in this movie is like a master silversmith reworking his grandfather's favorite piece as a gift for his unborn son.

    Two call-outs. Seamus McGarvey was clearly told by the director, Joe Wright, to make everything look like a painting, i.e. give us Barry Lyndon using 2020s equipment and SEAMUS UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT. Every frame a painting indeed.

    Specifically, things like where the year is 0 (which means "I just filled things with zeros), or 5000+ (I'm following the Jewish Calendar) to "1900"/"1899" (I get buzzed if I don't add a year so I put it at the beginning of the 20th century. "Metadata oddness" is our B27/6

    So, we added a cool, cool beta feature to be able to scrub across dates in collections of items. It's great. Of course, this has set off the all-time classic thing people who work with large sets of database entries, records, or digital materials knows well: WELL, THAT IS ODD
