    You might think that someone went with the weird "Let me adapt this German "modern" fairytale book by Felix Salten so I can sell it to Disney" no, Disney bought the rights to this book. Walt Disney. because this the author from whom he bought the rights to BAMBI.

    Oh, did you know that THE SHAGGY DA is a sequel to THE SHAGGY DOG, a Disney movie that was based off of THE DOG OF FLORENCE, an english translation of the 1923 german novel DET HUND VON FLORENZ which omitted the original ending where the dog/boy dies and added a new happy one
