    RELEASE-ish: Here is , a script to patch the .text sections of nso files and reassemble them. If you want to mod your games but don't want to wait for layeredfs, this should make it easier (+I included patches I made for SMO v1.2.0)

    even if having entirely separate cameras is too nauseating, maybe do something with having the regular camera display in the dominant eye and a camera modified to support a mechanic in the other? one eye sees standard room, the other sees a heatmap or wireframe of the same room

    thinkin about boundaries that can be pushed with vr, has anybody done anything other than slap one of two adjacent cameras to either eye and call it a day? for those who can bear it, having a significantly different perspective between the two eyes seems very interesting

    - final note: the framedrops were in very specific areas and while a little annoying did not influence playability at all. the game will be fun regardless of whether it gets patched or not

    - THEY DIDN'T EXPAND THE LORE ENOUGH: zelda can have some great albeit comvoluted stories and nintendo did not take the chance to expand this one beyond its former limits of catridge space into something more fleshed out, and its really disappointing;so many unanswered questions

    ...really only be beaten through trial and error. Nowadays many people who grew up with this type of mechanical bs have a "gamer sense" for it but the younger generation will end up resorting to walkthroughs (hurting the experience more than helping it)

    Some Link's Awakening thoughts from someone who never played the original: - This game is a great example of the "content" expectations for modern games being ridiculous, you can easily beat LA on switch in less time than many of the indies targeted for "lack of content"

    notes: nor noteblock has muncher, ha ? block has shell, nand ? block has muncher, fa left ? block has muncher - right ? has shell. these were designed with minimal usage of springs/entities/one-ways in mind, but there is lots of room for improvement sorry for bad pic quality

    here's some gates for anybody who wants do a calculator in smm2, I got bored and gave up but thought someone else might want them. buzzies : input lines (at spring speed, not kick speed). spinies : preplaced. idea is to have instruction cycle advance upon hitting on/off switch
