Yeah, the "you may not alter or redistribute this software in any manner that is primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or private monetary compensation" clause definitely makes it neither Free Software nor Open Source.

I worked on the switch port for this game and I am proud to say it's the ugliest code base for a game project that I've ever worked on. Good game though!

Beautiful! My two kids (8 and 6) just finished Zelda Links Awakening on Switch. They've looked what else was installed and asked me what VVVVVV was...I chuckled and wished them good luck! Mwuhahaha.

I am so happy to see this, and I'm actually really happy that you didn't try to hide any big blemishes. It's a great example of how you don't need to make everything absolutely perfect behind the scenes in order to make a game. Fun comes first!
