In the Philippines some babies are circumcised after birth. Others during pre-teens. It's the norm here and I was already an adult when I found out it's optional in other countries. I'm female & I still think circumcision is easier vs monthly periods (& childbirth) though.

You misunderstood, I was just thinking that pain-wise, 1x is easier and less expensive than monthly for approx 45 years. It is the norm here so it isn't an option bc it was done to them before they got to legal age. I didn't say I support it. U r reading (wrongly) 2 much in2 it.

Circumcision is too ingrained in the Philippines society, it might take years or decades to change that, if ever a movement for it will happen. It would be nice though if people are aware that they have options. Afaik, doctors here still tells kids that it's done bc it's sanitary
