Yes, it is very odd, and cruel, to defend it. And, comparing it to male circumcision is arbitrary. Because there are very clear and obvious differences between the two. There is absolutely zero reason to carry out or defend female genital mutilation.

and there are also similarities: both are non therapeutical surgery performed in infants, so both are mutilation. So I suppose that you think there are absolutely zero reasons to defend male circumcision.
