even if that were true (its not) i shouldn't have to give reasons why my body parts are necessary to save them from being cut off without my consent.

Babies have no bodily autonomy, it's the parent jobs to give to give that autonomy to save procedures. Are you really going to tell that you'll wait until you kids give consent to give them vaccines? Or a life saving surgery, since you obviously can't?

circumcision is destroying a healthy body part. vaccines are not destroying body parts and a life saving surgery means you are not healthy.

Oh, so is not about consent anymore and more about destruction of a body part. I would laugh how easily you changed the goalpost, but I'm honestly relieved that you jumped ship with that logic. But that body part is virtually useless and barely change anything.

yes, its about consent. obviously babies cant consent to hugs and kisses and food, the line is draw at things that are permanent, and if that thing is also destructive, you need a real good reason to do it. labeling it "useless" when many adults disagree means leave it alone.

Life saving surgeries are also permanent and generally cut off or take out a body part. As long as the procedure safe and comes with it's own benefit, while not changing your pleasure, that's good reason. Many adults say vaccines causes autism, we call them ignorant.

Many adults say Circumcision has lots of benefits and is harmless, we call them ignorant. (Regarding the procedure done on babies).

What happens when you scale up VMMC in a country with high HIV prevalence?. Mozambique exemple: http://clubofmozambique.com/news/mozambique-reaches-63-male-circumcision-threshold-report/ … … … … … … … … http://allafrica.com/stories/201705100560.html … … … … … … … …

First off, the 63% is after the HIV prevalence in Mozambique. Second, there were multiple factors on why the prevalence rised, lack of education and over importance of these HIV measures. So not really a good example.

and by the way, the peak HIV prevalence rate in Africa was AFTER starting with the circumcision campaigns
