you don’t have to file criminal charges to contact a parole officer, the parole officer should be contacted at arrest

i’m not really sure what it is you think chesa could have done, if he had pressed charges there is a slim to none chance he would not get any jail time, the parole officer would have still declined to revoke parole regardless of what chesa did.
