Hey @terebifunhouse, some pals and I watched Otaku Unite last night and MAN what a time capsule that is. It was cool to see a snapshot of cons almost a decade before I started going myself. Did you ever revisit that doc after being featured in it?
"Johnny Otaku" moved to Texas to pursue his dream of being a professional voice actor, and managed to get banned from every Texas anime con for stalking guests. Current whereabouts unknown.

I felt bad for the guy. I'm sure I'd feel differently if it were me he was harassing. But it felt in the piece that he was the designated goat -- the stand-in for the "bad fanboy." What do you guys think?

I did feel like the film portrayed him in a negative light, and I felt bad for him. His subsequent behavior, however, wiped out any sympathy I might have felt for him.
