    If a site is ripping your work and putting it on their social channels, you don't have to just tweet at them and hope they notice you. File a DMCA takedown. That'll get their attention real quick. It's not just for music labels and movie studios. Google the service + DMCA.

    "4. Capcom gets the right to use stream footage and any photos or videos from the tournament" If this is correct, I will not be working any event that has accepted this agreement with Capcom.

    As promised, I wrote an article explaining Capcom's new licensing structure, what its community event license entails, what its esports event license could mean, why it may be doing this, and what I think about it. Let me know if you have any questions!

    When you’re afraid to speak up in an effort to affect change, you’re part of the problem. Asking for a fair wage, especially at an inflationary time like this is not only acceptable, but necessary. If you have a voice, use it.

    Has any publication you freelance for raised rates to counter inflation? I've not heard of any doing so & that's unfortunate. Some publications are doing very well financially now but without a small bump freelancers are taking a significant cut in pay.

    For real, we were at Capcom Cup 2018 and Esteban got me hooked just *talking* about Last Wish, and all the raids and storylines. A few weeks later we ran LW, and I've hardly played anything besides Destiny since.
