Trump ushered in the Redemption Period in federal government. Since the 1960's and to varying degrees (depending on the administration), the federal government has been the only government protecting the rights of minorities in the South. We have racists heading the DOJ, WH.
100% agree, but it seems the South is returning back to old practices with great pleasure and there is not enough of us there at state level to make needed change. So that leaves serious federal reform. Hence why we are screwed right now. Sessions will see, hear, or speak nothing
