Definitely could have been better, but I’m looking at it vs the alternative. It stops the flooding of the courts by McConnell, and if Thomas or Breyer leave the court, they won’t get replaced by a Trump nominee. Even if McConnell does pull another Merrick Garland.

I hope your right but Mitch is infused with Trumpism now and the court. There are no rules they won't break. The outcome of tonight should inform the party that you must go low, just must take our two for every one, and then you start to fight dirty. Virtue died tonight.
