I don’t trust NYT anymore. They’re doing some crappy stuff lately

100% NYT is dead to me for a long while. But I don't mean to be a downer but without the senate and then current court a Biden win will only have minimal impact. So I'm crushed. Like looking at leaving the country crushed. If you can't hold this man to account, I'm out.

I know. We need to crush the midterms in 2022. We did gain 1. 2 win minus 1 loss so far. I don’t know if they called NC race yet.

I see the spread and don't have hope on that NC race. But I'm often wrong, so there's that. But honestly for me, this is the verifcation of a long held belief that this is not the country for me. I traveled the world and when I came back I was always an outsider changed by it.

I’ve heard that from other travelers. Once you see the world the rose colored glasses come off and you see US as it truly is. What country is the best to ex-pat to?

My personal list: Holland, Singapore, New Zealand, Canada, and Taiwan. Still open to other choices but these are top choices. Oh Denmark, how did I forget them! That would move into my 3rd choice.

I have a family friend from Holland. Hmmm. NZ seems good but hot. Canada has been my number 1 choice cuz it’s closest and I have family in Washington State. Not sure if any will accept us with COVID rampant. How easy are any to move to?
