I don't think either candidate winning would have made much of a difference. If one thing history has taught us, politicians think of their political party first then the people. It doesn't matter if you're democrat, republican, etc. it's the sad truth.

The best thing to hope for is that the younger generations learn from the mistakes of the previous and use that to make things better.
