It is 100 percent ethical to out gay people who dedicate their professional lives to hurting other gay people. If someone is for LGBT rights, but chooses to not be out publicly, that is their prerogative. But outing people actively harmful to our community is fair game.
This situation is not someone he may have had a private relationship with. This is paid prostitution, which I believe should legal, but for now is illegal. So if proven plenty of politicians have resigned because of the hypocrisy which has nothing to do with his sexuality.
