Singapore is getting praised for its handling of COVID-19, but Taiwan deserves credit too, particularly as an example of a society that is open and free and handling the outbreak well because of it.

I was there during the SARS crisis. You can dislike their government but I will take their handling of such a situation say over Hong Kong any day. They deployed those thermal scanners and other changes that really kept all of us safe. But yes Taiwan is the better example now.
