The front page of today’s @nytimes refers to Stephen Miller, Trump’s chief strategist of white supremacy, as a “young firebrand.” It is sad to see a once reputable newspaper continue to prop up and normalize white supremacy.
I looked up firebrand to see if it was synonym for a hateful racist. This is why I dropped my subscription to the Times long ago for WAPO. I don't expect the paper of "record" to agree with my political views but I do expect them to call out factual realities & not celebrate hate
