Yeah which means it was a real thing. Marketing may not have fully understood it, but it really was a method of preloading textures. Changing the name for marketing doesn't mean the concept didn't exist. Hell, it wasn't the first, nor last, time marketing changed a name.

You are trying to splice hairs, saying that because Marketing changed the name, it was completely fictitious. I'm trying to explain to you "That is not how the English language works". Blast Processing, marketing term or not, was a phrase used for something that existed.

Just because the name was "fake" like Listerine's "Halitosis", doesn't mean the actual thing being described didn't exist. So you can't say "Blast Processing Never Existed". That's just ignorant and stupid. You can say "Blast Processing really referred to X".
