It's true, though. He sucks, he's an idiot, but tractors are pretty high tech now (if a farmer can afford that). Odds are more like the people doing the field work for the corporate farms need it, and those are the only ones he cares about.

Yep John Deere has been fighting the right to repair their own tractors and they use the excuse that their tech would be exposed. Most tractors are almost more computer than tractors now. He had zero clue though about this. I think he was conflating the issues of rural broadband
