#BoycottGeorgia is a reactionary strategy and will disproportionately impact communities of color. A more proactive strategy is to #StayAndFightGA and join @staceyabrams’ efforts to fight for free and fair elections so we can flip Georgia blue.

That was my initial reaction until I learned that the boycott will hurt communities of color. We can rise to the level of urgency by supporting the grassroots work on the ground and Abrams almost flipped Georgia blue so it can happen soon. I think a targeted boycott of businesses such a TV shows and Movies that film there would be effective without punching down, but if that won't work the people of GA have to do a protest now in the streets to prove they can make change happen. Until then $$$ speaks more than hope
