I think the graphic in the article is far more the issue. The content of the actual article less so having just debated concerns with Palmer on Twitter. Sorry many of us have concerns about Theil. I'm on a mobile device so can't see the full url but is it the IBM reference?

Yikes that is truly horrible! Unlike you I'm no fan of Palmer. But while.i.see him as a theil-lite character I would never equate either to.thst.reference. I would be shocked and.disgusted if Cory had a.part in that URL or graphic. I agree horrible to use that reference.

To be clear, Michael, I think the concerns are valid (especially for journalists). My objection is to the factual errors in the lede.

Yes the concerns are valid. But the URl, the graphic of Pepe which unfairly paints Palmer as as racist, and the way the article opens is just really below as you say a valid discussion. I would hope Cory corrects these issues as I'm a fan of his and expect better!
