The reason there is an opposition that is a vocal minority is our military budget and how it is used is a well obscured system. If the average person knew what we really spend on over-weaponizing the military versus things like healthcare or infrastructure, it would be a majority

I'm not saying it is. I was speaking to the wider point Palmer pointed out. I don't disagree with the need to involve tech companies in a future where battles are fought from a security and A.I. footing. My issue is blind military support has become a social norm in the US.
