I've decided every man should know how to survive off the grid. We live in a time where man is fragile. He depends upon technology to survive and make it through the day.

Yeah, of course. Why do you think I pop off the grid so often? Had this book for years and memorized a lot of it. All bird blood is edible + can be drunk instead of water. https://amzn.to/2nlBHyI

I will be buying this book. Appreciate it.

It'll make you want to go outside, set traps, and build a shelter. Its great.

Definitely agree! Withdrawal from society can be a good thing, but I think the issue is hat our connections are all only partially real. Having 1k friends on social media with no friends IRL is way worse than just having 5 good IRL friends.
-
I'm also concerned that the companies behind social media are now censoring us. So not only are you an outcast for not being on social media, but you are also told what you can and cannot say. I see very little good coming from this.

damned if you do, damned if you don't

I wonder what reaction the idea to turn off parts of the grid at random would get. It sounds ridiculous at first But Netflix uses a system like this, called chaos monkey, to make their system resilient to outages. Perhaps we should be using chaos monkeys with all human systems.
