I've decided every man should know how to survive off the grid. We live in a time where man is fragile. He depends upon technology to survive and make it through the day.

This is sad. We rarely live in the present anymore, because no one has the attention span to do so. We need to be sucked into our dopamine-induced, online world every few minutes Kids arent playing outside, no one knows their neighbors and our friendships are reduced to a “like”

Side note: if I’m on a date and the girl is on her phone. No second date for her. No except. You should follow this rule as well.

This idea of going off the grid is not an "anti-technology" rant. In fact, I'm a huge fan of modern technology and the internet. The internet fucking rules. However, there is a deep, natural yearning for man to withdraw from society from time to time.

Many great men, thinkers and writers have been known to withdraw from society. Even Buddha and Jesus were known to venture into the wilderness to meditate and pray. Yet this idea seems foreign and is almost always laughed upon in 2018

You basically have to be plugged into technology in 2018 or you are an outcast. I'm concerned for where this will lead a society.

I'm not really sure where else to take this thread. These are just some thoughts I've been having lately. I would love to hear you guys input. You seem grounded in truth and reality.
