A lot of times the smartest person in the room is mistaken as the dumbest person in the room. I see this happen time and time again.

My experience with intelligence identification is that the people who talk about it in exclusionary terms (x has, y hasn't) don't really understand the markers for intelligence.

There are lots of types. Verbal, spatial, abstract, emotional. What really defines them, however, is almost all related to speed of coordinated action. You know... like boxing, and especially hand speed in boxing. But people don't generally want to talk about that.

Ya, IQ seems like it’s similar to computer processing speed. The direction of that process can vary.
