To put it bluntly, most people only care about themselves. Observe the conversations you have. The majority of those you talk to will only look for opportunities where they can talk and add their own opinion. They really don't care what you have to say, they have better opinions

These conversations are not about seeking the truth. These conversations are merely an ego feed. Humans are wired to believe there is a hierarchy system and we are constantly aware of our position within the system. (Google lobsters and the hierarchy for more on this)

In these conversations the other person is talking out of their own insecurity & their position in the system. They are desperately trying to out level you in this moment They need social validation that their opinions & ideas are better than yours. That they are ahead

The reality of the hierarchy is you make the system. Wherever you truly believe you are positioned is where you will be. If you feel stuck, start working on yourself. Moving up is unique for every individual. We all have different things to fix. Work on yours. Level up.

It's one thing to say you are at the top and another to believe you are at the top. You only believe when you truly become.
