Appreciate the details. You may want to restart/reinstall the YouTube app. That usually fixes issues. Also, if you happen to notice that this is happening on other devices, let us know what devices are affected. Hope this does the trick!

bam! today it’s entirely empty. so how do I reinstall without losing my data and history? also, I’m using the app on two devices, the other one being a good old iPad 2 I believe? will have to check back when home though.pic.twitter.com/GvLJn8VK9j

2/2 Your watch history will still be accessible after reinstalling the app. Make sure that you're signed in to the right account. Hope this helps clarify!
