what about DKIM? https://aws.amazon.com/ses/faqs/ says that AWS can DKIM-sign on your behalf or let you DKIM-sign mails?

DKIM/DMARC are almost always configured to softfail (because e-mail is bad), and the kind of person taking advice from a tweet won't know.
