the original says that the rationale is wrong. the edited version expresses doubt about the rationale and says that the commit message is wrong. there's a difference between the rationale being wrong and the commit message being wrong

anyway: I do think that you could edit out a lot of the sweariness without a loss in meaning, I just think that this particular edit slightly overdid it

The original started with “questionable” and then clarified he was talking about the rationale. Starting weaker than the main body of the message was also already there.
