They shouldn't be banning anything, or they should be treated as a publisher.

Platforms need to come up with uniform rules for universal use, but instead these companies are coming up with subjective decisions on a whim based on how they personally feel about the content or the creator. That is wrong.

The question is whether these social media organizations have crossed over status protections granted to a platform into the subjective, legally liable status of a publisher. If you are going to curate content on a case by case basis you are now acting as a publisher.
