A senior dev, writes code, in a way that other folk on the team can audit it, can understand it, can maintain it. If you're a senior dev and you cannot explain your own code, maybe, well, maybe you should stick to stack overflow. You might learn something there, hope this helps

I am seeing all the time how people can't understand let's say rails conventions and prefer to ignore them to build their own ugly constructs in place of clean convention over configuration. So it's not about me not being supportive, it's about explaining being quite hard mostly.
