tl;dr - I’m free and clear to make a new Twitch account, but don’t think I will – at least for now. For now, I’m going to stick it out on DLive and see how that goes. Growing pains aside, they have been very accommodating.

After Velvet_7 was unbanned from Twitch, I conducted an experiment and again appeal my suspension.
What is apparent now is Phil (less likely someone working on his behalf) complained about my and @BhilPurnell’s usernames – resulting in our permaban.

Congrats. I don't think it's just a Phil thing though. There are txt accounts dedicated to some other people/things. Big businesses are forward thinking and don't like to be reminded of their or their employees "mistakes". It's the internet and it doesn't forget.

If someone complained, the least twitch should do is tell you to change your username. No need for a permaban.

I think the permaban was someone doing Phil a favor. It is a pretty stupid reason to permaban someone when the name has nothing to do with Phil.
