I pay 2,000.00 per month for healthcare for self, husband, and daughter. On top of $ my employer contributes. It's 50% of my take home pay!

I pay about $300 a month for myself, and that $24k doesn't include that.

As seniors we pay $500 a month total for AARP, our secondary insurance. So now we will pay $2,500. That's a killer!
