I’ll applaud when they get rid of these ridiculous stressful tests that mean nothing. Students shouldn’t have to take these to measure their worth for college. Plus, only certain states look at the scores anyway.

I used to grade tests at ACT. They’re essentially wealth tests.

I couldn’t find ACT/new sat data but the average old sat score for $200k+ kids was only a 1700. That’s not even close to the 2,200+ scores needed for top colleges. Sure, wealth does make a difference. But saying it is the main decided is highly misleading.
