Journalists are evil. Compare the race baiting headline with the grudgingly reported facts. (Also, the “break with tradition” benefited two blacks who hadn’t earned the designation and had lower grades than the real salutatorian.)pic.twitter.com/mOxgDXl6vI

This is correct. I retract my statement, and the high school should change its handbook.https://twitter.com/adambonin/status/1403820841088045061 …

Leaving aside the race issue, grade calculation should give extra weighting to advanced placement courses (but didn’t, hence the issue). They used a stupid method of calculation that shouldn’t exist in high schools. All classes are not created equal.

'...rumors have gotten out of hand. “Because those two young ladies are African American & my son & the other person are white, it’s become a racial issue when it’s strictly a ‘the counselor did not use the correct policy and the school wouldn’t admit it’ issue,” said Borgioli.'

Reminds me of gender discrimination in a soap box derby. A girl entered & won 1st race vs a boy. Later they same two raced for the trophy, he won & was declared the winner. I told her father that she had already beat that boy. To save their face both were declared winners.

I agree this is grotesque. But I think you could use a “some” before “journalists” or a “can be” after it. I mean, I could do the same to “lawyers.”

The media want blacks and whites to hate each other so bad! Like they are obsessed with racial hatred that isn’t there.

White parents wanted their kids to get school honors ahead of Black students who had excelled with a tougher curriculum. I'm sure there's something else you can call it.
