Will someone please do her the kindness to give her a brain? Here I am trying to do what's right, which is to restrict diplomatic passports to real existing working diplomats so as not to devalue them abroad—and not pass them out as favors to retirees & friends. twitter.com/teddyboylocsin…

At the very least I think we can agree using a diplomatic passport for other than official diplomat business can be questionable to the receiving country. And it's also possible that it had to do with the China case. It's a nice privilege, but a privilege nonetheless.

if yours is such a smart idea, then why do you have to wait for china to devalue them before limiting it to active diplomats? i read Sec Del Rosario informed dfa that he will be using his diplomatic passport.

Sir kahit na kisihuda pa ang tawagan niya diplomatic passport is valid kung ang pagpunta mo sa isang bansa ay about Gov't missions at hindi personal business...besides hindi niya need ipangalandakan ang diplomatic passport niya kasi hindi na siya isang diplomat
