Alfie’s life support was turned off two days ago. NHS doctors expected that he would pass away within minutes. Again, he fought back; at the time of this writing, he is continuing to breathe without assistance. But time is of the essence.

This is false, in Italy we have public health care too but different laws and culture, we would never do what the UK is doing with
#AlfieEvans. We cure the rich and the poor like our christian culture thaught us since the Middle Ages. It depends on politics & on how you manage it -
You are so wrong. Italy is only offering palliative care to Alfie, he already had that, he couldn’t be cured. It was time to let the poor little boy go

You are free to buy private healthcare in the UK if you want it. The NHS ensures that EVERYONE gets some coverage, which is more than the US system. Oh, and it's around half the cost with better life expectancy.
