Boxer was the only senator to have done that though. Boxer came out on the record said she contested it to bring issue to voter suppression not to overturn the election. So please tell me again how these are the same?

Not identical/same but not new territory. Certainly not a new or unfamiliar procedure for congress! The house does this every time a Republican is elected, but this time it’s framed as a Monumental Obstruction? Same game but different rules? Of course.

I prefer a balance. No need to lean left or right with every decision from gov affecting every person. That’s why we’re in this mess. If 2020 hasn’t shown how little the elected care about the electors, not sure what will.

I had a great Uber ride in Houston a few weeks ago. The driver (lifetime Houston resident) made the case for the long-term benefit of the “tension” between a red state and a blue city. Good dialogue - very sensible position.
