False. Biden proposes a method of weaning off of fossil fuels while creating jobs in renewable energy. As demand shifts, the market must shift as well. It’s not the government’s job to prop up Big Oil.

Ted, please show us to the magic oil tree with unlimited supplies of oil. Because otherwise, we need to begin transitioning away from fossil fuels

Transition from oil. It's like you don't understand. Even the oil industry knows it's time for change Teddy.

If only Texas could become a world leader in a replacement industry. Like, perhaps if it had the potential to be the top producer of wind and solar energy, and a central hub for manufacturing turbines and solar panels. Too bad Ted'll just let China and Germany lead on those.

Is the oil industry so ignorant they can't figure out another way to make money? If that's the case, let the people who are smart enough to go into alternative fuels, take the reins. The future is innovation, Raphael.

Wait, Government forced cars on the American public? I don’t think so. Cars proved faster and more convenient than horse and buggies. Cars were for the extreme rich until Ford brought mass production into play. The same should hold true for “not so Green” energy. Market decision

They kind of were. At least in cities. Look up public transportation 100 years ago. There were electric trams and subways all over the place. But they were systematically taken apart after a group of oil, rubber and car manufacturers lobbied to get rid of them
