2/x Several commentators asked “why?” Because we serve in a collegial body, where almost everyone addresses each other by our first names. Notice “Joe,” “Mike,” “Kamala.” The one exception is POTUS, where everyone says “Mr. President,” not “Barack” or “Donald.”
