Clearly, the greatest public- heath threat imaginable...a kid on a skateboard. Young people, remember, this is what Big-government statist Democrats do—they take away your freedom.https://twitter.com/bennyjohnson/status/1251647382057553927 …

California is filling their skate parks with sand to make them unusable amid mandated lockdown. There is no scientific or medical rationale for this. This has nothing to do with a virus. This has nothing to do with protecting people. This is about power. pic.twitter.com/jXEaiPUk2e

2/2 And to all the Lefties defending California’s idiocy, skating alone poses ZERO public health threat to anybody. You want to enforce social distancing in public spaces, fine, but filling a skate park with sand—so nobody can use it—is authoritarian abuse of power.

Amen. And is all the better for it. Want to compare every measurable in California to Texas? Yeah, I thought not.

This is stupid even for Ted. This is a highly contagious, lethal virus. In about a month, it has caused 39,000 deaths. That we know of. That’s likely an undercount. California took very early measures to prevent the spread and the resulting deaths. Ted says it’s too much.

Ted, the same Ted who voted against aid for New York and New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy, now claims that he is all about “liberty”, which apparently means the “liberty” to ignore the emergency orders to socially distance so as to save lives.
