Yes, but that requires a robust testing program, which is currently just starting in NY and really isn’t happening on that level in most of the country. So it is a reasonable medium term option, but massive increases in testing now would be required to implement it successfully.

Ok. Then define your goals clearly. If we do this indefinitely, we pay an incredibly high cost, in money, quality of life, health, and lives, to potentially save lives. The question is when we sacrifice lives in some one fashion to save lives in another. We need a real plan.
