          I wonder if all these "freedom & liberty" quotes were also made in Germany in the 1930's? Cause we know the Republican party no longer believes in any of them. Actually the Trump party but used to be the Republican party.

          Yet Alexander Hamilton owned slaves. We can assume he treated them as well as well as other slave owners with the same sentiment. Still hypocritical. I guess politicians just NEVER change.

          This is probably Hamilton throwing shade at Jefferson, for writing so eloquently about freedom while owning slaves. But that’s just it, everyone back then was dirty, just about.

          Hamilton also profited off of brokering slaves. I thank God for the constitution. I believe the angels were guiding the founders in that, BUT they all knew slavery was wrong & they allowed it anyway. The founders from the south were rich because the owned slave labor camps

          Agree and disagree. Trading of slaves was done no doubt however the North would have been much richer had they had free labor. Maybe we won’t but someday others will look upon us and condemn us for something they feel is outrageous.
