I think the sentiment is right, but the question can come across as passive aggressive. I don’t think you should ask questions unless you’re interested in the answer. Instead of ‘x is wrong’ I would try to go with ‘x causes y, which would be a problem because…’
interesting. I ask them questions because then I can hear their thought process and find where the assumptions/inaccuracies are. I feel I can help them better that way

I think this is cool because you’re interested in the answer. It’s not questions that are the problem per se, it’s passive aggression. (I have a tendency to do the latter unintentionally, so I’m always on the look out for it)
