If you wanna stomp Discord, make you mobile apps available for free :)

they dont sell info, afaik, the only way they make money is A. from their servers they sell, which most people will opt for a third party seller instead. B. from donations C. from the mobile app sales i dont know whether they get a cut of third party sales or what.

Hopefully the mobile app will be free on both Android and iOS

Teamspeak makes much more money from selling ATHP / AAL licenses. The issue with paid apps is not the price but the fact that for many it is hard to pay for it as they don't have credit card and other payment methods are not supported

Even if it's hidden it can be retrieved via other methods. If you're worried about your IP being seen, don't connect to random servers. Only use ones you trust.
